Our spacious Executive King Suite was a nice retreat, despite the breakfast chaos. Staff were helpful during our stay! 😊

I enjoyed decent sized room here.
I ate at a nice restaurant for breakfast. Got to the bus stop within 10 minutes walk, as it has great location...

Central placement, underground parking, good restaurant facilities. Windows that could be opened as well as air conditioning if needed.
The lack of oxygen in the corridors and public areas

Restaurant was perfect for a breakfast. The room was decent size, and newly remodelled, with a storage space and coffee I needed. I appreciated particularly good location, very close to Rydges Capital Hill, the National Gallery and other centres of interest and Chairman.

Was handy to where I wanted to go. Was close to bus services.
Air flow in room was not sure whether it was working. Too hot at night

we recently stayed at rydges and found the staff to be lovely and helpful. our room was spacious and quite comfortable, with good shower pressure and temperature. we appreciated the helpful touch of being given a larger room with plenty of natural light. the restaurant had a nice ambiance, and we really enjoyed the steak and mash at dinner. overall, despite some hiccups, we had a pleasant stay.

We loved Canberra in spite of this hotel which we also found fair to middling. Helen
There were two beds in the room. We used one bed that was not even a double so basically it was a twin. There was one good chair at the desk but when we ordered a meal to have in our room, where could the other person sit. There was room at the desk to place another chair of a similar design. The shower was over the bath. This is not good for mature people as my husband found it difficult to step in and out of the bath. I considered the hotel 3 star and no more value than that. I think it was over priced. Breakfast $15 each, Car parking $12 per night. Why were not these two expenses included in the fee. We did not see a porter. The girl who booked us in told me that breakfast was also $12 but she made a mistake. The cost did not bother us but I definately prefer to stay at the Kurrajong which is an old Hotel in a similar position but has a History and does not pretend to be something it is not.

The database offered easy access to local recommendations, enhancing my overall experience. I found the digital features user-friendly, allowing for a seamless stay.
Despite these minor issues, my overall experience was enjoyable.

I liked the actual look of the hotel the physical atmosphere was nice..
I unuderstand that floriade was on so a big event does attract people so as the price was a bit ridiculous I didnt appreciate how poorly the room was presented to us. I was with my best mate and we have staed at hotels quite a lot and with that kind of price that rydges charged I would of thought the room would be in much better condition. The brown cabnet that housed the fridge was not stable and basically broken, the handle near the sink was broken. Its not a good look to walk into somewhere that is not up to standards the guy at the end of our stay was cocky and rude just because my card declined the first time I had to pay some cash as I had to do a transfer but instaed of making him wait I just paid some cash off the bill and he seemed angry and rude. I dont accept that in that high level of service that I know rydges offer. I cant however remember his name, it was sunday the 30/9 at 11am check out.. So im not sure of the name but he had brown hair. The bar staff was lovely.. The girl at the desk that mostly served us with the blue streak in her hair was lovely but im sorry to say the food was horrible ! 60 dollars for an incorret order ... i politely said thankyou.. but asked for a steak with vegitables and was given a pasta? I specifically had said seperate steak on the side with vegetables.. but was no delivered. MY friends meal was too burnt .. the salmon did not seem fresh. the mashed potato was definietly not fresh it was processed flakes i dont ever complain about things but i was so dissapointed with things even my mother came up to the hotel room to see it and had picked a few things out too so i felt it necessary to speak up as it was just not me that noticed.

Our room was comfortable quiet, newly renovated and equipped with the bedroom as well as comfortable beds. The staff were attentive and very attentive at all times. Besides, the location was incredible for our stay, within 20 minutes' walk of Parliament House.

review: The location is fantastic, with easy access to nearby attractions, and the parking is reasonably priced at $15 per night. The lobby areas offer ample seating, making it a pleasant space to relax, even though the decor could use some modern updates. Cleanliness was generally good, but housekeeping missed some minor details. , rating: 7, date of stay: 2024-03-15}

The Breakfast although looked very nice and fresh, all the hot food was ice cold, the coffee needed some improvement. The Dinner menu needed to be upgraded to something that is more friendly to the average person, and maybe cut out the fancy talk, as not only I, but quite a few people that I spoke to about it did not understand it either. I am a chef and from experience, the average person just wants to have a good meal and understand what he is getting.

the bed and room service was good.
due to internet booking the general accommodation was not up to standard for the price and 4 star rating.
